Or, you could try setting null objects along the ground at the toe and heel
of the place you want the foot to lock (oops, I guess we're talking about an
ant, here). Keyframe the leg by linining it up with the nulls on the ground.
Not necessarily a better solution, but one that'll keep your monitor clean.
